For a time that brought great expansion of retro style, the 1950's is filled with transitions. Television began making its way into homes across America, and Disneyland opened in the middle of the 50s decade. I love Lucy and other gret TV shows popped up and are now great sources of 50s themed costumes and fashion.
Of course, the 50s gang wore leather jackets with a pack of cigarettes rolled in the sleeves of their t-shirts. Slick back the hair with an added plastic comb, and they were ready for a fight or a drag race to Deadman’s Curve. The women wore long poodle skirts and went out to swing dance with their dates. Everyone gathered around the jukebox at the local malt shop to listen to the best new music. Reliving these 1950's days is as easy as finding the right costumes and outfits and getting a group of friends together to hang out at the local drive-in.
